Inset Orb Tutorial
1)   Open a new project in Design 300 x 300 pixels.

2)   Select the Rectangle Tool and draw a 300 x 300 pixel square and color it R - 128 / G - 128 / B - 128.  Make sure the Stroke width is set to 0 and stroke color is set to none.  Click on this Object in the Layers Panel and name it Background.

3)   Select the Ellipse Tool and Draw a 214 x 214 Pixel Circle.

4)   For fill choose Gradient, for Gradient Type choose Linear.  Set the left Gradient Node color to R - 80 / G - 80 / B - 80.  Set the right Gradient Node to R - 180 / G - 180 / B - 180.

5)   Click on the Fill Transform Tool and set the Rotation Angle to -90.

6)   Click on the 12 pt Object in the Layers Panel (the circle) and name it Inset.

7)   Select both objects by dragging the mouse around them and then go to Arrange / Align / Centers.

For the next step you could start a new layer.  I'm not until I figure out better how xmal export is going to handle them.

8)   Select the Inset Object, do a "Control C" to copy it and then a "Control V" to paste a new instance of our circle.

9)   Resize our new circle to 200 x 200.

10) Color our new circle R - 0 / G - 0 / B - 190.

11) Center the new circle over the inset and name it Button Base Color in the Layers Panel.

12) Do another "Control V" to paste another instance of our circle and resize it to 190 x 190.  Name it Gradient in the Layers Panel and then center it over our Button Base.

13) For Fill choose Gradient, for Gradient Type choose Radial.  Set the left Gradient Node color to R - 0 / G - 255 / B - 255.  Set the right Gradient Node to R - 0 / G - 0 / B - 255.

14)  Click on the Fill Transform Tool and click the reset button to clear information from our last gradient.  Now set "Y" (vertical position) to -60, make sure the "Link width and Height Sliders" button is broken so that we only change the width of our gradient and enter 130 for width.

15) Go down to the Effects Panel, choose Effects / Gaussian Blur.  Set the Radius to 1.5.

16) Select the Ellipse Tool and draw an oval 154 pixels wide and 100 pixels high and position it at the top of our Orb about 2 pixels below the top edge.  Name it Shine in the Layers Panel.

17) For fill choose Gradient, for Gradient Type choose Linear.  Set the left Gradient Node color to R - 255 / G - 255 / B - 255.  Set the right Gradient Node to R - 255 / G - 255 / B - 255.  With the right gradient node still selected set Stop Alpha to "0".

18) Click on the Fill Transform Tool and click the reset button to clear information from our last gradient and then set the Rotation Angle to -90.

19) For a finishing touch I added a drop shadow to the Base Color Object.  You may want to add an Outer Glow or both to yours.  Its a matter of taste.
